Nice one! Quite enjoyable for a small experience. Those damn ponds are super annoying! For more inspiration, I recommend checking out Queendomino (board game), or Concrete Jungle (video game).
I don't think that matters much. You can certainly do something your own here. This is why I was recommending to check them out, so you can see what's been done and what hasn't.
I really like the ever-flowing nature of Concrete Jungle. What I don't like is how you can't really have much of a strategy, because you can only see so many tiles ahead. I don't know if the "random piece selection" takes into account the possibility of solving situations. So you can easily get yourself into a situation where you can't win, and it wasn't because you made a bad decision, you just didn't have enough information.
Just some thoughts on what needs solving around this dilemma if you want a strategic and more satisfying experience.

Thank you very much! Somebody else mentioned Queendomino, too, I was a bit disappointed to find our idea wasn't quite as original as I thought, haha!

Man, I just looked at Concrete Jungle, and it kind of looks like the game I'd want to make if I had much more time! Thanks for the tip off!
Cheers! Looking forward to playing something if you decide to continue with the project! There are lots of ways to go from here :)
That's a really great idea! I love the art, music, and simple controls. :)
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you liked it! :)
